enable you to search for a certain product or service at a specific
location at a single entry with our 1-Click
Search Technology. For example the search text 'Beauty
Salon in Serangoon Ave 4' will return all the records of beauty
salons located at Serangoon Ave 4. Click

Stemming
Our searches allows for stemming. For example, entering the text
'Beauty Sal' will yield results containing "Beauty Salon"
and "Beauty Salons".
Case Sensitivity
Our searches is not case sensitive, so both search text of 'BeauTy
SALON' and 'BEAUTY salon' will yield the same search results.
Exact Phrase (" ")
To search for an exact phrase, you can put quotes around a set of words.
For example, "Beauty Salon" will only yield records
that match the words in that exact sequence of 'beauty salon'.
Basic Boolean Operations (AND, OR).
Presently the search can only support basic boolean operation like AND
and OR. For example, search text 'Beauty AND Salon' will only
yield records that contain both the word 'beauty' and 'salon'. For search
text 'Beauty OR Salon', all records that contain either 'beauty'
or 'salon' will be retrieved. More complex operations will be added
soon.
Refine
Search Results
To narrow down your search results, you can use the Search
within Current Results option or the Search within Locations
option.
The Search within Current Results option allows you to
search for something within the returned results, while the Search
within Locations option allows you to search for something within
the chosen location.
Search Within Categories
This option only appears when you are browsing a category of related
records. This option enable you to search for something within the present
category that you are browsing or within any other major category. You
might say it enable you to browse and then search.
